What is this plug?

It is on the back side of the engine by the fuel rail on a 93 SER. Not plugged into anything at the moment.

Yeah its factory taped up because its not used. Its emissions related plug thats on the California emissions sentras. Wanna say its for the EGR temp sensor.

Thanks for the reply. As long as this motor works until May-ish I'll be happy to leave a plug unattended. Then a fresher VE takes its place.

Again, its taped up like that from the factory on the models that dont have the egr temp sensor. That is still the factory tape. Nothing to worry about.
