Of course other factors would include your age, driving history, and financial responsibility...if you're a young buck that bangs into things and has trouble paying bills, then yea, it's gonna be a lot higher!

Any ideal on what the cost was to fix it? Also how long did it take?

My windshield frame rust repair was quoted at 780 and it ended up being $520. They worked with the glass place for timing and had the windshield done during repairs.

Wayne I just repainted my g/f car at the shop I work at. I fixed the rust under the windshield lip myself with some Bondo and painted the whole lip when the car was painted then put a new windshield in total cost about $400 but this is on a Mitsubishi so it may be a little different in price.

ps. I don't know I'd you saw my thread when my car was hit or not, if you want to trade some parts let me know. do you know anyone that has 2 spare rims for sale ? the insurance is not getting my new tires
