whats your deductible? Are they waving that? Is it 14** after you meet your deductible? The insurance company will find any way to fuck you over. ANY. Deny the claim, and take her to small claims (doesnt cost a thing, or VERY little) and have her pay the full amount plus some. Leave it to a judge when it comes to money.

Otherwise take the money, cut your losses, and look for a new whip. I would however take the parts worth monet off. They cant say anything about that. Do it before they come get it though. DEF take the VE out and throw in something else. At this point, it basically scrap yard metal.

Sorry to hear this happened to u and ur car man. I had a guy back up into my old nx, the transaction was smoother than urs though, their adjuster came out and looked at my car after they accepted liability and a week later they offered me 2270$ for it. 91, hardtop, auto, with prior body damage and 227k miles.. When I reviewed the paperwork they compared it to 3 other nx's.. All manual 1600's so I'm pretty sure I couldve gotten a lot more if I declined the offer and made them compare it to 2000's like mine. I ended up keeping the car though and they gave me 1970$ all in all I was pretty happy since I only needed a fender. Hope ur situation gets resolved, good luck and keep declining their offers til ur happy, I've always been told never accept the first offer lol.

Also you can claim to the judge that the car was your pride and joy, and that you have many man hours building it, blah blah blah... sell it good. Judges eat that shit up when there is one clear person at fault like a person running a red light. Pure stupidity. Whats more important is that your OK, and that she didnt kill you and really injure you badly.


Att eh end of your court visit, just explain that all your asking for is the money to replace the car and that would make you happy. Like I said, leave it to a judge when it comes to money. If your not hurt its better in small claims then letting insurance handle it.

yeaa you dont have to accept that.. and they cant take your car til you accept their offer.. so keep doing your thing man.. take out everything that they aint giving you money for.. and you can tell a judge that you just want what its worth and what they are offering isnt enough to replace your car, which you really need for transportation
