dude you should get way more than that for your car.. i had a 95 altima that didnt look nearly as nice as your car.. totaled the whole front end.. and they paid me $2,200 and some change.. and it was salvaged title.. dont take it, they owe you the average cost of what that exact car goes for around the area.. dealers/private/kelly and all that.. they have to average out the cost of it..
then they should cover you with a car that you need for work and whatever else..
then, dont accept your settlement.. you have 2 years to settle your claim.. go to the doctors and let it build up.. you will end up getting a good amount of money.. in the 10 thousands.. i still have a year to settle on mine and they offered me 4G's from the get! so imagine..
they are going to have to pay you for all your medical visits, and for your pain and suffering for the next 2 years.. let that baby build up!! $$$$ lol

Yes I bought it from lancesr20, I couldn't remember his forum name,

I have the car in my driveway it happened 1/2 mile from my house aaa towed it to my house the inspector said they wouldn't do anything till saturday or so.

About the accident, The lady was traveling eastbound and probably wasn't paying attention to the light she just came out of the skating rink for her sons tournament (they are from out of town), well the light turned green for me and I was traveling north to get on the turnpike directly across from my neighborhood, I heard someone lay on their horn and from the corner of my eye I see a suv swerve around the cars about to turn left and I slammed on the brakes and tried to turn into her direction of travel (right) and she hit me I was still in first gear when she hit me (less than 15mph), when she hit me her radiator broke and I got antifreeze on me (it was cold luckily), then my car rolled to a stop and an unmarked police car was almost right there but didn't see anything happen. she got a ticket for running the light, and her case manager hasn't called me back about the questions I left for her, so the rental I got today is out of my pocket because she hasn't claimed liability yet. How do I go about getting loss of use for my car, I drive too much to be without a car

you figure out what her insurance is.. talk to them and tell them you need a car.. they will tell you what rental places you can go to.. and they cover it.. the only thing you'd have to pay for is the insurance on the rental car if you want to have insurance on it.. its an option.. they'll have to reimburse you for everything, even for the rental youre paying for.. make sure you tell them you had to rent a car.. dont say anything because you might not feel pain just yet.. i didn't feel any pain until about 5 days later.. it slowly got worse, and now i dont go a day without neck or back pain.. so dont say any of that just yet.. hopefully you dont feel any pain because it can end up bad, but its a possibility.. you have to file a police report and they will decide whose fault it is.. clearly theres.. i had my police report first.. it takes 1-2 weeks.. then called the other persons insurance.. but if you have her insurance info, you can call them now and see what they can do for you..

about your car, once you contact the other party's insurance they will send an adjustor to look at your car.. they'll check the car's body condition.. the tires.. the interior and all the gadgets it has (ac/power doors and windows/stereo/etc) and then they check prices of other car's just like yours with the same condition.. and they'll pay you the average amount

They said the way they have to do it is to pay me for it then I have to find someone with a dealers license to buy it back at auction, he said that is standard in florida

they should also give you the option to keep the car or sell it to the insurance.. if the insurance offers you a good amount, then take it and drop in the blown sr20.. keep the vvl.. they cant do anything about that, they wont even know..
but if there offer is wack, then keep it if you think you can make more money from parting

awesome wifey! @LANCESR20

The adjuster did come out today and offered $1460 for the car, we both have the same insurance company, her insurance is supposed to cover the rental through enterprise where I got the car today, her case manager is supposed to get back to me about the rental then they will direct bill the insurance company but for now it is out of pocket till the other driver accepts the liability

As far as I know her case manager hasn't gotten her statement or anything yet

hmmm well thats bullshit then.. you should be getting way more.. body looks like it was nice before.. and you do have some of those options right? like the ac/heater and electric stuff?? should be worth more.. i agree on taking out all of your parts.. they cant take it from you until you let them.. but be sure to do it inside a garage if possible.. they'll start watching you.. and if they notice that youre working on your car, they'll try to tell you that youre lying about injuries if you do end up injured.. put in the blown motor
well shes supposed to file the claim also.. you will get reimbursed, so dont worry man.. just be patient with it for now if you can.. and dont be scared to go to the doctor if you feel anything at all.. it'll give you more money in the end

I looked up the production numbers for the 98 se there were somewhere around 790 produced which is around 4% of the sentras produced in 98, so it is a rare car

So I can basically tell them they can't take the car from me?
If so I'm putting it up on cinder blocks so they definitely can't take it out of the driveway?

It has power everything but seats, cruise, 5spd, a/c, factory wing, seats are in good shape the carpet has one hole by the gas pedal but that's it, paint was peeling before the accident though, it has some pretty good rust in the front door jambs and around sunroof is bad (it just started leaking when it rains) I was going to work on the rust and possibly repaint it after I'm finished with my g/f car gets done this weekend, it HAD no dents though
