Thread: Oil Recommendations for 10-1 Compression Turbo Car

What oil are you guys using for your high compression turbo cars? I used Valvoline VR1 20-50 on my old setup which was 9-1 Compression GTIR Engine without failure. Now that I’m running a 10-1 with a bigger turbo and probably more than 30lbs, what's your recommendation on oil and why?

Id run the same oil you were running before. It higher in zinc than most oil and thicker so it wont turn to water under heat and pressure.
