^No cat though correct? I'm pretty sure I didn't see one in that VID you posted. I guess I'll sale them on the board. I only ran it for for about 6 months ago with my 14" RESO.

Nope no cat, no emissions here so I don't have to worry about a CAT.

I would run it if you can, but with the huge reso, I didn't have 12" to waste....

^I might switch to a 5" round resonator.

Gotta bump this back up.

I'm in the market for a resonator. How about the Magnaflow 3" inlet/outlet 5" round 14" long one? How well would that work on a 3" turbo back + 80mm ws2? I want to try and avoid the 6" for ground clearance reasons & hitting the underside of the car, but if the 5"x14" is not going to do the job I'll roll the longer 6" one.

Anyone have the 5"x14" res?

@Vadim: How was your clearance after the RM springs?

I haven't tried using my 6" resonator with RM's. It would scrape anywhere I drive though.

You can use my set-up then. Hotshot Gen III headers to OEM Cat to VRS 2.5" SS catback (with huge Magnaflow resonator) through an STI muffler. Love it. I can still hear it a little bit when I'm paying attention, but it disappears when I'm just cruising around. And the same cops that used to pull me over for no reason because I had a magnaflow straight-through muffler now leave me alone. I have mp3 sound files I can send you if you are interested in hearing the difference between the two set-ups (magnaflow vs STI muffler) and how the STI muffler sounds from the interior getting up to speed on an entrance ramp and then cruising on the interstate.

the uh, VRS 2.6" SS catback... is that just a pipe to connect the cat to the muffler?

also, what should I expect to pay for each of these items??? I am having trouble finding a used STi muffler online..

EDIT:
holy crap! $420 for cat-back.. I thought this would include a muffler, so get an STi muffler in addition and remove the muffler that comes with the VRS setup?
