Back in the day I bought a 2.5" exhaust from JGY and I am pretty sure it came with that exact resonator, the big magnaflow. I still have it on the car today except I changed out the Magnaflow canister style muffler for a Flowmaster 60 series muffler. The 60 series is the quietest one the make. I really like exhaust with the flowmaster a lot...it is so much quieter than when I had the canister style muffler on it. It kind of has this "hollow/mellow" type sound to it, I gotta post up a sound clip. I believe the resonator has a lot to do with the nice sound I get. By the way this is on a turbo B13.

Well the resonator package in the package as shipped was 18lbs (the box is really light nothing special).

Flanges are about 5lbs for both of them.

Plus I will need to get an 7-10" pipe that may or may not be SS. So that will add some weight...

Alright I installed the resonator the other day. The car is still in half running condition.

I got an exhaust hole in the Resonator-back piping, its the size of a dime! One of the hangers decided to rip a chunk out of the pipe. Now this is before I installed the huge and heavy resonator.

My dad and I still have to reweld the hangers on the resonator-back pipe too, right now its so crooked that it touched the rear beam a lot!

But besides that, the Resonator fits pretty well in in the middle space, like it was made for it

Best part of all is, it sound AMAZING! Even with the exhaust hole the size of a Dime it sounds AMAZING!

I will post pictures and videos after I'm back from the honeymoon week after next.

I did not loose any low end torque either! The car pulls hard and got about 10+ more HP, best that I got is 206 BHP at 69* intake air.

Car feels and sounds like a beast though!

How did you get a dime size hole in the piping? Isn't that piping fairly new?

Yep, but the ehaust hangers are welded onto the pipe, and it just couldn't take the off roading pressure , ebay exhaust ftl

Are you using one of those Gtech Pro things? That's 20 more hp than a stock SR20VE.

Yeah... but the torque is not quite there. Nope on the Gtech, a ScanGaugeII with the BHP gauge.

I will plug up the device to couple stock cars and see if the stock BHP reading matches the one on books, but it was pretty accurate for my families 96 Maxima...

Did you replaced the cat or something else? you said your gain was about 10bhp so?

I love that Big Ass resonator, have the same one on the Spec V and is quiet enough, now I'm planning to get the same one but for my Classic, I'd like to get the 6" round body since I don't think the 4" would be enough, does anyone have a 6" round in their Classic?

Congrats about the wedding btw
