If the bolts keep snapping, are you sure you're replacing them with the proper grade bolt?

i would say ur crossmember bushings are probably no good cause the engine to move as much as ur description, use a higher grade bolt and pray for the best

go to nissan and get new factory bolts for both side and rear motor mounts. then press in a set of new motor mounts and your problem will be solved

Yeah it was jammed into gear, and yes its the rear cross member mount!! The bolts are the exact same ones as the stock ones I think I just need to replace the mount inserts!! Any good ones that you guys recommend? And I had a hell of a time pulling out the snapped off bolts from the transmission!! What's the best way of doing that?

replace with prothane motor mount inserts and new oem nissan bolts. only nissan oem. and as for pulling the bolts out use visegrips if there is enough sticking out

JWT (Nismo) or Place Racing - The best upgrade options. Harder durometer than Nissan OEM, softer than Prothanes. Like the porridge in the Three Bears "just right." Both types long-discontinued, and very expensive pre-owned in our Classifieds, and about as easy to find as a unicorn. I've got a set coming my way, for....gulp....$250.00. Second set I've seen in about 5-years become available.

ES Inserts - Old school and lame because you insert them into your ragged-out and dead OEM rubber mounts. Maybe if you bought BNIB Nissan rubber mounts and then inserted the ES mounts...but that would be an expensive PITA. Screw this option.

Prothanes - Completely replace the rubber portion of the OEM mount. You re-use the metal portion of the mount. Inexpensive and very effective. Will certainly cause more rattling and shaking at idle. No issues during normal driving. Holds your tranny and motor firmly in place. You can always just use the Prothanes in the two (2) mounts that resist the torque of the motor. Use OEM Nissan in the other two mounts for a nice compromise. Dave Coleman did this in SCC waaaaaay back in the day (using ES inserts, because Prothanes were not even produced yet).

I used all four (4) Prothanes and never had much of an issue with the extra rattling, got used to it very quickly. I am only upgrading because I have a bigger budget now for modifications, and I am getting ancient in relation to most of you youngsters. With age generally comes a bigger checkbook and less compromise.

You're welcome.

Definitely look into prothane mounts. An inexpensive upgrade that will cure your ills.
