What do you want to do with the engine?

What Kyle said...plus...

What's your budget?

How much horsepower you lookin' for?

What kind of times do you want to run?

How knowledgeable are you? How mechanically inclined?

Friends that wrench?

Daily driver? Fun toy? 1/4-mile? Road course?

Budget is low but I'm saving to put my into my nx2000.. and when I'm finished with it I want like 250 HP?? Not sure into wanna do NA or turboed And not really looking for running it down the track mostly auto crossing it. And I can do a bit of mechanics I can swap engines but not to much more then that but i do all my own work on my cars.

And I'm not sure what I should do with the engine.. I don't know what good aftermarket parts are to make around 250 HP or what would help the most...

DET for the exact reasons @ny5speed quoted you, sir.

Find a stock SR20DET engine from a Bluebird or Avenir. Swap that into the car, get a DET ECU if you wish, an intercooler and piping, and a DET MAF and go to town.

Now I have to ask what car this is for since the information I last replied with can be misconstrued.

Please clarify what chassis or car this is for.
