Heater problem
So lately I've been driving a good amount on the hwy.
I've noticed that after 30 mins of driving I feel hot air coming from the bottom of the dash and through the vents.
All the vents are closed and even on the cold side.

What could be the problem, I don't want to delete my heater.

Forgot to say its for a b13 ser

Could be your vents are not closing properly and leaving the bottom ventilation open.

you'll have to take the dash apart and make sure all the wire slider cable things are connected properly...they have a little clip thing that secures it....it just pushes in....they tend to fall out and the result is the cable doesn't move as much

^ yep. You need to make sure the "blend door" is opened. Follow the cable to the box and u can manually open it(if that's the problem )

I had that problem. I just switched it to the defroster and forgot about it. It's probably related to the trap door cables, which were too much of a pain for me to tear it apart. I was afraid of breaking stuff too. everything is plastic in there except the cable so be careful. I highly doubt it has anything to do with your heater, but that is strange that it takes 30 min to act like that. Do you hear the fans running?

I realized that I never really notice it since in the summer its hot everywhere so I don't really mind it, and in the winter the heater is usually on so once again, never bothered me.. But yea I hadn't noticed any problems with it really its just kinda there, the defroster setting ^^he mentioned works too.
