Thread: Rpm don't work need help asap

Hey guys I have a 1994 sentra se 1.6 manual when I bought the car the rpm did not work.... Now I'm trying to fix it and I don't know what it could be..... I have done some research but nothing... What can it be guys.. Help me here il appreciate it.. Thanks..

Could be:

Bad wiring
Bad connectors
ECU not giving RPM signal (mine does this currently)
Bad Cluster or RPM coil

Check them all, with the exception of the ECU. If all the others are good to go (continuity, clean, nice-n-tight, etc) then it's the ECU and you'd need to bypass a new wire to your dizzy.

Check all your fuses too.

At one point they worked for like 2 minutes but they would only go up to 3k and then it stoped working but ima check everything u guys said today after i get my tranny in

Didnt know the B13 GA's had tachometers. I guess the SE's did.
