blown ecu, gurus little help
I just purchased an b13 with a ve and modded ecu by geo.. I wasnt driving the car so i dont know exactl what happened but im guessing a mass surge accured. I arrived and found almost every fuse blown in the fuse panel. Looks like the alternator cooked my battery and caused a surge. my engine control fuse is the only fuse that keeps blowing

Have a crank no start condition. No Fuel and no spark. Fuel pump works but need to jump relay. relay not getting ground from ecu to prime pump. so i figured it was the ecu. i opened it up and found what looks to be a reisitor on board to be blown.

To make sure i swapped my jwt ecu for my turbo nx and that ecu still wont activate the fuel pump relay. and my ve ecu wont work on my nx either. so either the pin out is different, which i doubt or im missing something. I have power at power supply for ecu, but no power coming from my eccs relay. which wont activate cause it gets its ground from the ecu.

My engine control fuse is still blowing but from what i can see in the schematic it just powers my fans and aiv which shouldnt cause no fuel or spark problem...

Im asking you guys/ladies since i figure this i like my tech support. Maybe someone has had the same problem like this.

that CJ1 - CJ2 jumper was moved to read the board that was installed in the ecu, nothing wrong there unless the solder came undone.

it sounds like you might have some melted wiring somewhere, check out some of these links.

https://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=how+to+test+for+bad+wiring&oq=how+to+test+for+bad+wiring&gs_l=hp.3..0.1419.4888.0.5242.26.25.0.0.0.2.282.3809.6j13j6.25.0.les%3Beqn%2Ccconf%3D1-2%2Cmin_length%3D2%2Crate_low%3D0-035%2Crate_high%3D0-035%2Csecond_pass%3Dfalse%2Cnum_suggestions%3D2%2Cignore_bad_origquery%3Dtrue..0.0...1c.1.Cgzg7QuXiGY&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=9e0d634c5b1464f6&biw=1163&bih=848

also check the fusible links, they are in a little black box located in the engine compartment on the side of the battery usually bolted to the fender behind the turn signal. heres a pic to help with what i'm describing

the fusible links look like this

as you can see the tops are clear so you can see if its bad or not.

the fusible links checked good. what threw me off was that my ve ecu should've at least kicked on the fuel pump on my nx when I swapped them. Which it didn't.

Are u getting any spark at the coil? Wat about dizzy? There's a fuel signal sent from the dizzy so u could of probably toasted ur dizzy. Swap in another

Nothing from coil.. and by dizzy u mean disturber then nothing there. Abd pump only gets signal from the dizzy when cranking. Fuel pump should prime when u first key on the car. and that signal Comes from the ecu. Thanks for the replay anything right now helps I think I've been looking at it to much and some fresh point of view never hurts.

Possibly an ignitor?

Had bad coil found last short but still no fuel or spark. Is there suppose to be a jumper on the cj1 to cj2 on the ecu
