Code 34: Detonation Sensor circuit
Code 34: Detonation Sensor circuit >Car started 0 times with this fault

This is the knock sensor right? I have my ecu set so that the knock feedback is turned off, but this comes up after I start the car. I can reset the ecu and as soon as the car is running again this comes back up. Any ideas what's going on?

You may have a bad knock sensor. Check the voltage on the knock connector as well. Not sure why this would show up if you already disabled the function though.

I kept getting this code too. Turned out my issue was MAF related. I kept trying to test my sensor according to the FSM instructions, but I couldn't get anything to test right. Tried a couple different sensors and 1 was brand new, but they all tested the same. Regardless, I swapped my maf and everything fixed itself. Does your car run like total sh*t when it throws the code?

No it actually runs good. I'll check out the maf, but I don't have another to try swapping with.

Every time ive seen it come up its knock sensor related. Either bad sensor or bad wire to the sensor.

That makes sense, BUT why would it do it when I have the feeback flag turned off on calumsult? It shouldn't pick up anything.

My buddies b14 calum ecu did the same thing, always gave the check engine light for the knock sensor and 2nd o2 even though he had them both disabled. Made no sense at all.

He got the knock sensor to go away but never the o2. His had a bad wire going to the sensor, it was hanging by one strand of copper. lol.

Guess I'll check it out, not like I have a choice at this point lol.

Another odd point here is that I DO NOT have a cel.

That is weird. Soon as my light came on with that code, the car ran terrible. I could clear the code and it would run good until the light came back on.

With the car running, and NDS on, I can clear the ecu and the code pops back up instantly. With the car off, nothing. I haven't gotten a single cel though.
