Yeah, cable snapped or stripped which is making that clicking sound.
I mean the car is 15 years old, lol Bound to happen sooner or later. If its just stripped in the one spot you can hold the close button and try to help it along out of that area and see if it will move. My old 91 se-r did the same thing and it was the cable stripped in a couple places, Just had to manually bump it along while holding the switch down.

Thanks I took out the motor... Closed the sunroof by hand... Tested the power, all good. The motor clicks both up and down... But the crank on the motor itself does not turn, just clicks grrr. Still the same reason?

Well if the crank on the motor isn't working (on the motor itself) well then U just need a new sunroof motor assembly.. sounds like the little worm gear stripped.

<----has never been in a B13 with a working sunroof. All the ones I've owned were sealed or broken. True I was 8 years old when the 91 SE-R came out though
My first se-r's sunroof worked and my 93 that i bought from Cali worked perfectly. No help along at all required.
