BTW surprising news.... looked under the car, and found out I dont have a stock pulley

Its a UR... so there goes my crank pulley separated idea...

Usually I would use one of my other cars to check if the timing light is reading right.

I don't like those solid pulleys. Stock or ATI Super Damper for crank pulley. For accessories, yes I like the lightweight pullies.

I dunno what else to suggest to you to fix the problem.

You are using the fixed timing adjustment right? My last timing light started to give funny reading right before it died.

Yes it has no 'fancy' options...

I think that once the pickup gets hot it starts to give bad readings. When I started it seemed to be working fine, then a min later.... no timing marks when the light fired
