Thread: Is my tach off or not?

So i have had some wierd rev limit things happen (explained in another thread)
some of the members say my tach is off, so I should be able to tell if it is or not by comparing my mph and rpm at that speed with someone else right.

so here we go

limiter hits around 7800rpm in second gear puts me at about 59-60mph

does this sound right?

what transmission do you have, and what are your tire sizes?

On my b14 7k is about 60 mph :0

Its 96 se-r I believe the trans is stock although when I bought the car 2 yrs ago the dealer said they replaced the trans b/c of 5th gear pop. I have no idea what they put in, I would think oe replacement. So I should be at around 65mph @ 7800 rpm?

tire size is 195/55/15

If it is the stock transmission then yes, that would be correct
