Yes, i can see it from the pic. Your fuel line from your fuel filter is going directly to the FPR and the return is hooked up to the feed tube, lol. Pretty obvious even with the small pictures

I can't believe you picked it out just like that. It's time i start learning about SR20s.

yeah, see where your feed line from your filter is now, your return line is hooked up to that spot. lol

Ive been doing this a long long time man. I know peoples common mistakes so its pretty easy to point someone in the right direction.

Yeah, the one that goes directly to the fuel rail. With the thick insulating rubber on it?

Update: The fuel lines were crossed. I changed them and tried to start it. It started then cut off immediately. After moving the timing around a little, now it works, but i can hear slight "popping" (Misfire???) coming from inside. At idle, the rpm gauge is all over from 400 rpm to 1500.

i think it might be the distributor, like all of you said.

probably need to set timing, set base idle, and so on if its having trouble staying idling. Make sure there are no vac leaks. If your using the jdm injectors you might have some sticking or bad injectors so might be best to swap on your old fuel rail. Alot of times these motors sit a while and there is fuel in the rail and they will rust the injectors shut or clog them and so on.

Just some things to look at. Set the distributor in the middle of the adjustment like I said and leave it alone. You can adjust the idle by putting it into timing mode and adjust the idle screw on the IACV

The timing on the pulleys is correct. We double checked it three times. I'm using my USDM complete intake manifold, with the US fuel rail. The Distributor timing is all the way to the right. If i set it to the middle, the engine will shut off.

Basically what i need to know is when i change the distributor, it doesn't fit all the way in. can i rotate the rotor to make it fit all the way in? Will that mess up the timing?
