got the jdm highport swap all done except
the distributor. The one on my new engine is different. I think it may be an OBD II one, because it has a circular thin disk under the rotor, and the one from my old engine doesn't have the disk. he tried to put my old one in and it fits, but he said that the rotor metal side (when he took the dizzy off my old motor) is pointing towards the lower firewall, while the dizzy on the JDm engine is pointing straignt down. he says if he uses the old dizzy now, it will mess up the timing.
he says he can't use the oldone yet until he changes out the key way from the new one to the old.
I don't know. can he just put the old distributor in, or does he have to do all that?
i have a 1993 sentra se-r with a highport.
thanks.
UPDATE
he did all that with the dizzy, now the engine turns over but won't start.
