Thread: got the jdm highport swap all done except

If it starts using spray your timing is correct meaning your distributor is in the right spot, it wouldnt start if you didnt have it lined up right. You should have the bolt on the top tab basicly right in the middle of the adjustment. That should put the timing roughly at 15*. Once all said and done if you want to run premium you can bump the timing up to 19* and requires putting into timing mode and using a timing light to properly set it.

But I guarantee the fuel lines are backwards

I will check on that tomorrow. I live in an apartment, so i couldn't do the swap. He's going crazy over it not starting.

Yes. Everything is stock. I dare not to mess with the wiring. Everything has been carried over from the old engine to the new. Including all the EGR crap, cause we have emissions here in Utah.

Yep, just look at the lines and you should be able to tell right away. If you see the fuel line from the fuel filter go to the fuel pressure regulator on the rail then its wrong.

I'm going over to his house tomorrow at 3:30PM. I will post updates when i see it. It just has me worried. I love the sentra so much.
