Getting ready to buy a clutch (opinions)
I haven't got the car dyno tuned yet, but the guy I got the 93 Nx2000 from said it had around 325hp would be his "guess"
The car was suppose to have a brand new XTD stage 3 (6 puck) Good up to 280 hp. Now why when you guess the car has over 300hp you put in a clutch rated up to 280hp? Lets say I ripped it right up in about 300 miles or LESS.

I have been going back and forth from web site to web site that sells these clutches.

PLEASE be nice in my thread and dont post some BULLSHIT
I'm new to picking out clutches, so bare with me with the noob ness.

1. My first choice would be the FX400 (Stage IV) From Clutch Masters.
It seems like it would hold up with the power I have.
Power level rated? Don't say on their site.
Also from everything I have read on this forum they seem like a great clutch, so I would get this one from all the good reads from (sr20-forum.com)

2. Now my second choice would be a ACT NX9-XTR
I had one in my 94 ser ve-t sentra on 10.5psi
a girl use to own that car and drove it for about a year, well when I got the car it was slipping in 4th and 5th after 4000rpms bought the same clutch that was in the car and drove it for about 1,500 miles then started breaking transmissions (3 to be exact)
so I would choose this one just from my experience and knowing a girl that cant really drive drove on it for a year.

3. The 3rd clutch choice would be Competition Clutch Stage 4 Sprung - Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit/Stage 4 Rigid - Strip Series 0620 Clutch Kit
Someone private messaged me suggesting this clutch is why I put it up here.
1. and 2. would be the ones im more interested in but I still put it up to get opinions on.

Now lets hear from the forum
Tell me what clutch you would pick from the 3 I have listed.
The pros and cons.
or if there is a better clutch out there in your opinion that I dont have listed let me know about it.

On a side note: I'd like to become more active on the forum so if theres any way you all know of dont be shy to spill it out.

Thanks!
-Chris

try to stay with a sprung full disc clutch, for your power level you shouldn't need a solid hub or puck disc.

i've already got the pressure plate to match, but this is what i was thinking of getting next, Jim Wolf Technology website

heres the pressure plate, Jim Wolf Technology website

right now i have the B15 SE 2.0 disc which i believe is the same as the p11 but could be wrong, any how it holds really well with that pressure plate, but its due to slip eventually an when it does i want to try that double sided metallic disc out..

i think you have to email or call them for a price tho lol

aha! Clutch Kit Bundle, 2.0, Stage 4, Stg 4 : JWT Pressure plate with 1 sided metal disc, t/o bearing and clips, axle seals, rear main seal and clutch alignment tool. good for turbo apps up to around 330 whp

you can have greg minus the axles seals, rear main seal, an whatever else an just get the plate an disc... but i'd atleast get a timken tob an clips from the part store or rockauto..

EDIT: I WOULD SPECIFY I WANTED THE 2 SIDED METAL DISC WHEN ORDERING

ya know.. just to be sure, that

ANOTHER EDIT!!!

seems on the site it says 2 sided metal disc, but for some reason the LINK says 1 sided... weird..
