Secondary pipe replacement
The flex joint in my Gen 5 Hotshot header (2 inch collector) is gone. I have a secondary from an SSAC 2.5 inch header I was thinking of just using. I think is will just bolt right up, but the primaries on the Hotshot are 1 3/4, while the primaries on the SSAC are 1 7/8 inch. I know the cat opening is 2.5.
I know the larger primaries might flow a bit better ,but since I'd be going from slightly smaller diameter to to larger pipes in the new secondary, does anybody see a problem? think it might help some or hinder. My b-13 has all the standard bolt-ons and a custom tune. axle back exhaust is 60mm.
