It was the weirdest thing. I was almost certain when it happened that i broke something. When i got it to go into gear it was like there was this resistance/tension/grindy feeling all the way into 1st and 2nd and in between those gears.
Cant really explain it. Probably damaged the syncros but got them to re-wear themselves back to normal. That would be my best explanation for the whole thing. This was back in 2003 when that happened.
How did the cluth pedal feel? Could you press the pedal to the floor when this was going on? When I try to press the clutch pedal to the floor, it's like it don't want to go flush to the floor. I have a new clutch cable, got a new OEM TOB, new B15 disc, fresh gear oil, and new OEM TOB clips, so I don't think the TOB alignment is off. It's weird, but I guess I'll have to pull the trans either way.
Worse case senerio, I have a spare B13 trans with only about 90k on it. Might just through it in and sell the case on the current one. Not sure how much life the gears have left, if any on 1st and 2nd.
