Thread: tail lights dont work!

my tail lights dont work, i changed the brake light switch and it worked. i attempted to take the old one out with a tight spot and make a sweet spark ;/ and now it does not work. Fuse is good. Does it have a relay?

check the fuse. it's probably blown if you made a "sweet spark".

Do your dash lights work?

I think there is a relay for tails. Try switching them out for one another if you don't have extra...

Haha x2.. you either blew a fuse or relay.. don't remember right now if brake lights have their own relay but from some reason I didn't think they did

my gfs carwas like that it was the fuse in the engine bay, altho the dash lights still not working , i imagine that is a relay

The tails don't have a relay IIRC. that means, unless the bulbs burnt out, it's a fuse somewhere.
