To put that in perspective, the B14's fuel tank capacity is 12.6 gallons :O . On top of that, my gas light doesnt work, so I tend to worry when my needle goes below the "E" line.

if im city driving i can only get about 200-250 its really bad

I think that's how my mileage was when I started driving because I was heavy footed lol, and my mileage was worse If I was in a hill'y area.

i got 290 miles once on a trip, but most of the trip was spent climbing hills at 60-70mph and there was obviously some boosting, i dont think my gas light works, but i didnt run out an when i filled up it took almost 12 gallons.

Best to date was 412 miles, all hwy. Bolt-on 92 SE-R. The thing was dangerously close though. I'd have to check my log book but I think it came out to 35.8mpg. I used to think that it was how you drove that was everything. If it's the same route that you take all the time, then yes it is. Then I went to a paving class (I'm in construction), and learned that a decent amount is gained from newer paving mixes. Open graded mixes yield great mpg's. That 35.8mpg was on open graded. Feels smooth too. I even revved it a few times to get on the onramp. So I'd say there are a lot of factors.

The data I posted above - is mostly city driving.
My daily commute is about 14.5 miles each way, only 3-4 miles of 55mph, rest is across town with stop lights and stop signs, and some 35-45mph roads.
Most of the time I drive for fuel economy - engine brake & coast up to stops/traffic signals, where possible.
Same route for nearly 17 years, so I know the traffic & light patterns well.
I actually get better mpg in city than hwy, especially with the 98 SE.

Doing well for fully stock, depending on how many gallons to fill it up.

Here are the top 20 fills in terms of trip meter from 2 of my SR20 cars:

In my 99 SE-L 5-speed with just a wai, i got 420 miles to the tank but don't remember how many gallons i put to fill it back up, 95% Freeway Driving.

In my current 2000 G20t 5-speed completely stock, i have gotten as high as 477 miles to the tank but is has a bigger gas tank than a B13 or B14. Average MPG ranges from 34-36 mpg with my (3) highest being 38.2mpg, 38mpg & 37.9mpg. Drive about 93-97% Freeway. I would say about half of the freeway driving is a consistent 20-35mph because of Southern California Traffic.

Usually I draft behind big rigs to avoid wind drag and keep the rpms low since they usually drive about 55-60 mph. I also use the coasting method coming to lights or stop signs and when shifting if there is no incline or hills I will go from 1st gear skip 2nd gear and go to 3rd also skip 4th gear go to 5th gear.
