Hope this link works for ya...not my handy work, but should point you in the right direction. The red arrows are pointing to the starter bolts. Make sure to disconnect your battery before you start playing with the starter as well.

As per FSM

You can remove the starter motor
-from under vehicle (SR Engine)
-from transaxle side (GA Engine M/T)
-from engine side (GA engine A/T)

I believe NX2000 has SR engine....

Image this motor is in your car. The starter comes from the far side into that hole where the fly wheel and tranny are.

if you lay on your back under the car it is to the right side of the cross member above the half shaft.

Just lay under the car and look where the driver side axle meets the tranny, look right above it and bam! There it is.! But make sure u disconnect the battery lol. The bolts are kinda a pain to get at but if u have swivel sockets it'll be easier

Thanks for the advice! Well I'm trying to diagnose the problem. I get power to the car but it won't crank. No sound or anything. What fuses would be associated with this?

No sound meaning no "clicks" from the starter relay either? I would suggest looking into that.
