Never found the key, and a local locks smith around my area dont make keys the way you guys are talking about. Wish they did but they dont in the small wv town I live in.
So Ive went with my last option..
I'm sticking the car in the shop this thursday to have the ignition changed out.

I figured out the profile of my key from a picture and told a locksmith about 2 hours from me, they were able to give me the key cut code for the profile I gave them, and gregv cut them for me. Any place could cut them though once u have the code.

Did you see if the locksmith could remove the cylinder and determine what the key profile is that way?

no man i didnt.
i just simply called all the locksmiths around my area.
When I call: I ask "I have a 93 Nissan NX2000 I have lost the key to and was wondering if you could make me a key or help me out in a way of me getting a key".
All the Locksmiths around here just basically open doors, none know how to make a key it seems like.

Last time I checked, the dealer won't have your key code on file because it is too old for them to keep on file. Like others have said, you could try other nissan keys since there are not that many different key codes that they used back then. Find the key code and you will be fine, other wise, you will need to switch out the lock cylinder, which also means that the doors would need to be changed also. Good luck..... When you do get it figured out, make like 5 copies at the hardware store so you or anyone else that ends up owning your car will never have this issue.
