theres a diffrence when they already have the key code then a locksmith coming to your car and making a key from scratch.. hell i can go to wally world and still get a key for 2 bucks. thats why it cost so much for a locksmith

if you can take out the trunk lock - the tumbler - then you could take it to the locksmith and drop it off. The guy that came and did mine took the hatch lock out went into his van and made the lock. Or you could take it out and see if them is a code on there and they may be able to make you a key from that.

was this for the SR? cause i asked the locksmith about that and he said it dont work that way. Our keys are 2 stage keys. First row of teeth is only used to open the car lock and the second set is for the ignition. The Trunk key does not have the teeth for the igniton making it useless for the locksmith. At least thats what he told me. Which he has no reason to lie about it cause it would have made it easier for him and he still had to drive to my house to do it so it wasnt like it was saving me any money...

go to a junkyard rumage thru b13s and nxs im sure there is some, sometimes the keys are left in the car put them in your pocket and try. my old b13 key opened up 3 diff b13s that belonged to my friends, and my friends p10. heck even my b14 key opens certain b13s and even starts it lol

I went to my local locksmith, told him the make model and year of my B14 and he cut me a key from some book of codes he had without any other key to look at or even a VIN for $10. Not sure how that works but the key does and that's all I care about
