lost my keys(what to do)
I have lost the keys to my 1993 Nissan Nx2000.
They are no where to be found.
I have never lost the keys to a car before, so there for I dont know what steps I need to take to get me a replacement key.
any help would be great.

Thanks

Replacement key, no idea. You COULD try a VERY old NX key. I've seen it happen that you can unlock an NX with a key that's not original for the, we even managed to start one, once.

The dealership may be able to make a replacement based off the the VIN.

well how badly do you need your car? If it has the original ignition in it they can take your VIN and cut a key. I did this with a 90 Z32 I use to own.

If it doesn't you will need to buy a new one unless you have a very good locksmith in your area that knows how to replicate cylinders in a nissan, but that is expensive.

Locate key code sticker on the roof of the glovebox. Provide key code to a locksmith (you can locate one with a phone book / google / bing / whatever). Locksmith makes a key from the code. Pay him. Done.

My '91 was too old for my dealer to cut a key.
