Thread: rwd s13 sr20ve wiring questions

Hi guys, I was wondering if I could just use a det wiring harness and just do some small customization's and/or just use a vvl controller. I know I will need a vvl controller either way. If you guys have any info it would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks.

Yeah you can just use your DET wiring, what are you using for ignition tho?

Okay thank you very much for clearing that up! I saw mazworx had some cbr coils. I'm not sure if the plug into the det coil harness or not but i know ve engines use smaller coils.

So im dumb I didn't scroll down and they say you can use it on the sr20. But i'm going to check in with them just to make sure they are for the ve because i'm tired of spending money on the wrong thing, cuz its in rather short supply lol

The P12 20V uses coils and cas. But all the rest of the VE's use a distributor

Yeah, I know I need to use the p12 cas but aren't the coils kinda hard to get a hold of? I haven't really been able to find a 20v cas.

Coils are the same as S15 SR20DET and Xtrail GT.
