i shurly expected to get flamed by now. if you guys are diggin this i will start takin my camra to the shop.

thanks jerm for posten sum pics. u da man!

so far making the nissan axles fit the masda hubs and the cluch linkage have been the tough parts

the cars both have very simalar syspension and 55'' ball joint track width so axles fit the car and motor mounts are lookin pretty simple to make fit.

when the car was masda powerd i could make 180+whp on motor and add
200+ hp on the bottle but the tranie would not take 300hp let alone 400hp for very long and the axles were even weaker. i would always bring a spare set to the track so i could make it home. 5 tranies and god knows how many axles in 3months of drag racing once a week i started shopping for a stronger platform. i stumbled into a b13 through jerm and im in love .

so far the klpowerd masda ran 8.90s in the 1/8th and the b13 ran 8.01 with a t25 and a 100 shot the brick shaped b13 would drag the car so much that if i spray it above 90mph the clutch will slip so i hope the mx3's beter aero shape will help out high speed power delivery.

thanks for the suport. im the guy in the blue suit and thats my project car.

its been about 4years since i did a swap like this. the last one was a ford fastiva. usally an easy swap but not if you use the turbo trans and axles. if you use the festiva trans the masda trubo bolts in easlly. the sh t box was scarry. after a highway race gone bad i dismantled the car promicing my self all progect cars must weigh at least 1500lbs. feather weight car + 130mph=

car that will change lanes when it wants to .

i will get pics of current developments. im buried in masda wire now i hope to make the final harness this week.

From seeing MX3 race cars back in the days, I can tell you that they were/are one hell of a chassis. Seeing them run at the track was a thing of beauty. The cars themselves, are ugly, though (expecially the back end), but that is one stable chassis you are working with.

Good luck with the project!
