Dude, my buddy has an MX3 with the Jdm MX6 motor in it. KZ6 or something forgot name of it. Anyways, he is making HUGE power with it and is running a 11.3 with drag radials and traction problems lol. The car weighs nearly nothing!!!! Good luck man!

The reason for this swap is that his b13's body is trashed and the mx3 is a bit lighter, he has alot of money in the suspension already, and after mocking up a spare motor and tranny in the mx3's engine bay, there is quite a bit more room to work with, especially in the front of the motor for the turbo from the b13 and a nice mani.
If you guys need help with the wiring let me know. B13 SRs are dead easy to wire into cars cars they didn't come from (I've done a B13 SR into a carb'd B12).

Sounds good Calum! I'll call you if we have a problem. I already pulled a spare engine to ecu harness for use in the mazda, and the mazda interior harness will be used.
yeah the interior harness remains, just basicly gotta match up the connections for the ecu power wires, which there are a couple, then the injector power, if it uses electronic speed then you have to match up the interior harness for that, and a couple other small things,

He didn't have very much time to mess with it today so I didn't bother going over there to help (25 miles away). He did go and grab a b13 crossmember and rear mount and bracket from a junkyard today. He got the clutch pedal on and using a mixture of the b13 pedal and mx3 parts. He also bolt the b13 crossmember to the motor to see where it lies, and there is going to have to be a plate or something welded to the frame for the back of to crossmember to bolt to. That's about it. I will take more pics when I go over there again.
