Thread: Weird motor mount issue??

Ok so I bought the prothane solid inserts for my car and they all fit except the rear motor mount the insert measures 3 1/8 od and the mount measures 3 1/8 Id now I can just push in the solid insert and there is a 1/4in of play in the mount anyone else have this problem???

Can you describe the issue better? What chassis do you have? Where is the play exactly? You sure you have those OD/ID labels right in your post?

someone put a GA16 automatic mount on your car.

B13 5speed and the prothanes bushing has a 1/8in lip all the way around them that where the measurements taken from

you need to get a 5 speed mount from any B13-B14 SR20DE

Someone put the wrong mount in your car. The mount you have is from a GA16

Yeah i made it work i just cut the rubber out with a sawzall and burned the rest out the slid a 3in piece of exhaust tubing and tacked it in and pressed the prothane mount in worked good
