Belt replacement
My apologies for a possibly noobish question, but how should I go about replacing my belts? I'm thinking pull off the passenger wheel and undercover and....... aren't there adjustment bolts somewhere near the alternator that need to be loosened in order to reduce the belt tension? Yeah, I need a little help. I'd usually just take the car to a shop but things are expensive these days so I am going DIY with as many things as possible.

It's easy.

Remove the pass. side wheel & any splash guards, loosen the alt. pivot bolt and swing the alt. down and remove the belt.

The p/s belt has the loosening bolt next to the oil filter.....

It's been awhile since i replaced mine so the details are kinda foggy..

Having speedwrenches, a 12" ratchet extension and a swivel joint is very, very helpful when doing belt changes, especially the PS belt. They're not necessary, but make the job easier and more enjoyable.
