I'm pretty amazed at how you hounded down that out the pulley J-man. What did you just walk the highway?

How many miles on that engine Storm?

shit happens all the time, I've replaced several.

The car has 178k original miles. Other than that BS the other day, it runs quite well. It was slow as balls when I first bough it from some girl, and she already had an exhaust on it. I hadn't driven a stockish B14 in so long. So I added a JWT ECU/header/cold air intake, Exedy clutch - really helped it open up a bit.

The thing was, I heard exactly when it fell out of the car, because once it came off, it was caught up in the axle or inside wheel or something and making a ton of racket, then suddenly it got quiet as itfell free and all was good (except the brake and battery lights came on the dash) and I also saw it rolling down the street behind me. I went back to the same place a few min later and it was just laying on the shoulder

That happened to me before on my way to work. Needless to say i banged in sick that day. Came off my first rust bucket p10. I learned so much about sr20's dealing with that pos.

You could even get a app for $5 bucks on your phone that hooks up via a bluetooth obd2 connector ($20) that provides live data like that if you want to go cheap

wow i need to get out of the stone age and get me a smart phone. Thats 1 sweet app

It's funny, I just drove the car a few miles and it runs fine off the battery. Gspec crank pulley goes on tomorrow barring it doesn't rain
