Thread: Swap Questions

Whats going on guys? I have a 98 se-r parts car that I want to use to swap all my parts over into another shell. Swapping into another b14 chassis I understand will be straight forward and plug and play, but if I was to swap everyhthing over into a b13 chassis, what extra work would be involved? Would it be as simple as dropping the drivetrain in, and running the 98 engine harness to the b13 body harness or are they not compatible?

not compatibile per say can be done but much easier to get the obdI parts

Yeah i figured, thing is I have all the parts from a good running donor car. What would need to be done in order to make this work?

Can't you just use the b13 flywheel, dizzy and sensors in the b14 motor?? Just use the b13 wiring harness. Either that or keep it obdII and swap everything including the harness and ecu...which would be tough.
