Thread: b13 engine harness into b14

i was looking around and could know really find out how to install a b13 harness into a b14. from what i found the b14 has 3 connectors and the b13 only has 2. thats pretty much all i found. anybody got any input on this matter

Easier to make a stepdown, on another note how would you connect the dash side?

Exactly my point. I think the stepdown would be the least technical source. Its that my b14 harness is hacked up and was looking for a cleaner less wire harness but I don't think that's going to happen

I converted a B13 harness to fit in my B14 and now its going into my P10. I dont like step downs unless they are made with new connectors, wires, and the pins are crimped with the proper crimper.

The only thing that has to change is the car side connectors, for this you will need the B14 side and solder them onto the B13 harness. Depending on what sensors, maf, and dizzy you are using you might have to swap a few more plugs over. While doing this you can also clean up the harness and bit and make it fit a little better.
