Thread: 2 Quick questions?

I'm still getting a kick from 1 to 2nd gear? sometimes it changes smoothly sometimes not. Dont know what to check for....can the mounts being a little off (not adjustest perfectly) cause this? im sure there right but just trying to guess here.

I remember loooong ago when I had my auto nx I had the same issue with the hard shifting from 1 to 2.. I thought it was the mounts, they helped but not a lot. Then when I was going to get the transmission rebuilt the guy was talking about installing a shift kit and on the list of things it inproved and corrected it listed "corrects hard shifts from 1st to 2nd" so it may be a common issue just throwing it out there, I ended up not rebuilding it and going with a manual lol..
