sr20 bottom end question

Is there a difference between a low port sr20de bottom end and a high port sr20 bottom end. If so what are they. Any input would be nice

Someone correct me if I am wrong but the only difference between the highport and lowport is the head.

Depends how old the highport is, It would have a Girdle and 8cw crank, but then if the lowport is a non roller rocker that could also have a girdle and 8cw crank...

Is there a reason why you want to know?

Im picking up a low port SR20DE today which i saved from going to scrap. And im stripping it down to remove the crank. I have a Highport in pieces in my garage so i guess i can compare them if needed.

I have one of each torn apart right now for rebuilds, the only difference I've noticed between the two is the ports on the heads. That and one has oil squirters cause it's a det block.
