Thread: NGK Vs The Rest

Ok i know everyone here sticks with oem sparks plugs, i do the same. But has anyone tried another type of plugs. Denso,Autolite, Champion and Bosch. Has anyone tried using http://www.pulstarplug.com/ .

auto lite is crap, champion is crap so is AC delco.

NGK copper @ $2 each is the best been using them for over 10 years.

I also replace every them every 10k .

They had a article about different plugs on sentra.net

ngk came out on on top.

Didn't covert have a thread all about plugs? I thought so but now I can't find it maybe it was called something else.

Denso , splitfire and HKS , are nice and fancy but if you want to spend $50 for plugs go ahead, but NGK coppers work just fine for turbo and NA, VVL etc.

ngk iridium seems to work well for me

I'm currently using champion copper grade 7 on my turbo SE-R, so far so good.

Right now I'm running the Sonic NGK Iridium plugs. So far they have been descent. Now that I have a ScanGauge, I can finally test the NGK BKR6E-11's and Bosch Platinum +2, and the NGK BKR5IEX-11's and compare MPG's and BHP

autolite was the factory plug for ford for quite a while untill they made motocraft
and yep them ac delcos sure are crap
since they are the stock plug in my gmc and have over 100,000 on them and still no misfire


bottom line almost no spark plug on the market is "crap"
you trying to tell me that ngk uses some alien form of technology that makes the fuel in nissans (which aparently must go throught the nissanification in the injectors making it different from all forms of fuel) burn correctly and no other plug company can get the spark right
