We don't have that option over in Massachusetts ....I believe it's state law that the gas has to have ethanol in it....I think there might be one station that offers it out in NH but it's a 50-60 mile drive just to get there I'm pretty sure.

What brand of gas is it and what is the aprox cost for each octane out of curiosity? I noticed you were from Florida.

Ethanol free gas is hard to come by, costs $.05 more per gallon here, but gives you 2-3mpg more. As for power, it would drop slightly but should be tunable with more timing because ethanol has a higher octane rating.

^Ditto. What I've heard and read is that Ethanol has a slightly higher octane rating, but can build up in the fuel system.

And it breaks down over time and has a shorter shelf life. Also ethanol retains water and breaks down our old fuel hoses and rubber components in our older fuel systems. In addition, straight gas will yeild more horsepower and more mpgs.
