Thread: Help Me Identify Injector

The FBJC100 injector is a type of top-feed injector. Nissan used it on various vehicles/engines. This type of injector was used by other manufacturers as well. In the Nissan-specific app. for the SR20DE it flowed 259cc, when used on the VQ30DE or VQ35DE it flowed 290 and 295cc. I believe when it was used for the 3.5 L motor, it was setup for 3.5 bar (? somebody correct me if I am wrong - I read this somewhere). I think the Subarus have this injector @ 335cc (?). I am not sure if different flow patterns (more than 4 holes) were used or if they had slightly bigger holes. I gues different manufacturers bore it out to whatever they like or add additional flow paths.

From the pics you posted it does appear to be a USDM RR setup so if you wanted to use 370cc side-feed injectors you would have to source out a 94-99 low-port intake manifold. I am not sure what all you would need for the complete conversion, though. I am sure that Miko would know this.



It looks like you have an injector sub-harness tucked in the back. The orange and black clips here will work for the 370 injectors. Does this guy have two sets of injector clips wired into the harness? The grey injector clips in your second pic are RR clips and will not work on 370cc side-feed injectors.

Only reason I know this is because I owned a S14 and I now own a Z33. This is a standard Denso top feed injector. Max flow is 336cc 32 lb/hr 3 bar 15.3 ohm. Copied and paste this from my old S14 spreadsheet of parts.

I already have the lowport intake manifold on order and I did my research on how to do it. I just need to figure out the way the guy did the injector plugs so that I can use the old orange and black ones for 370cc injectors.

Hey guys can i jump in and ask if they're low or high impedance?? cause im about to fit the RR sr20 to my N14 (B13) ecu and wiring harness, im hoping they're the same impedance as my originals so i can use the std ecu for now.

So with the new info on FBJC100:

306cc @ 3bar - 357cc @ 3.5bar - 408cc @ 4bar
