Thread: Question about sr20 head ???

Hey so i picked up this head with a bunch of other parts and was just wondering why there is engraving on the side ?? The pics below are what i'm talking about , has anyone ever seen this ? It's not factory i'm assuming since my other head doesn't have it . Machine shop ? , any help is appreciated thanks in advance .

and it says 94 on the side also, i think mine says 56, it must be the "L"engendary head
