^^^ It's the same as any other bolt, "Lefty Loosey, Righty Tighty"

In this case you are turning the head of the bolt counter clockwise as you are facing it. In other words,If you're laying on your back under the car(with the end of the ratchet handle facing toward the rear) you would push upward on the ratchet handle to loosen the bolt.

If it's tight, hit it with some PB Blaster, stick a 3" extension on the socket for clearance and use a breaker bar.

Hopefully you're using 1/2 drive and not messing with 3/8 drive tools. Also make sure the front of the car is jacked up high, so you have room enough to put you shoulder muscles into the breaker bar,

Once the pivot bolt is loose, move the power steering pulley up/forward toward the water pump pulley.

Lol!! That was my direction. I sprayed it with pb blaster. So it should break loose when I get a breaker bar on it.
