Anyone know European Model Nissans Well?
Well to make a long story short. I will be studying in Germany for at least 3 1/2 years starting in September. My question is does anyone here know the European Nissans well? I would like to have a suggestion on one. I am thinking maybe a 100NX or a P11 Primera. It's a damn shame they have no Sentra love in Europe and never imported them. I don't think I would want anything like the Nissan Micra or anything that primitive though.

The reason I want a Nissan also is because they are cheap. Since Germans love their German cars there is a high demand for Audis, BMWs, VW's, Opel's, Mercedes' ect. over there and a low demand for Japanese cars. For the price of a German car of the same performance I would pay double of what I would for a Nissan or Honda. Hell last time I was over there my rental car was a Ford Fiesta with a 1.25L in it with only about 60 HP and thats a brand new model Fiesta too if I may add.

Oh and any suggestions on what to buy should be reasonably priced. No "OMG buy an R34!!" or "Buy an S15!!" just because they sell them there. I could not afford one at the time anyway even though they are only about 10,00 Euros.

Any suggestions would be nice. Mainly if someone who has driven both the b13 NX and P11 and tells me which car they prefer for daily driving and commuting. I have had an NX now since I got my license and I love it. I am just wondering if anyone else thinks I should look into any other Euro Nissans.

Thanks!

B13 100NX GTI's and N14 Sunny GTI's are getting hard to find in good condition although really fun to drive. Maybe a P11 GT Primera would be a good choise. There's plenty of them available and at reasonable price. N15 GTI Almera is also one option for you. P11-144 (facelift-model) doesn't come in GTI-form but 2.0 sport has also the 140 hp SR20 in it. If you decide to buy one get the manual. The CVT trans is full of sh*t and thirsty as hell. I know, I drive one.

Here are your SR20 euro variants. You can check the supply at mobile.de.

Gosh that P11-144 is hideous!!nIt looks like a spaceship!

I figured sadly that the 100NX and N14s are hard to find. Problem is that the rust on some of those things would never pass the German inspection. I am leaning towards the P11 because they look decent. I want something with an SR20 in it. The GA16 was a little too slow and the gas mileage on the SR20 isnt too much worse than the GA16 anyway. But everything almost has the GA16 in it

Its going to be a long and interesting search for a car.

P10 all the way! If you're lucky you might find one with 4wd.

The 144 2.0 CVT sport is not that bad. Here is a friend of mine's with a VE swap.
