When i first looked at what needed to be done with everything still in the car i was like no way. But after you get the dash out, harness out of the way, and the brace out it becomes 10x easier. Still not a simple thing but way easier than with the dash in.

Got the dash out, but should I worry about the top hole since the firewall is little further away? Ignore the top hole and tight it up on the firewall?

Where in Texas are you? I swapped mine to manual a few years ago, and wouldn't mind coming to help you. I also did mine with the dash in, what a pita.

Use some nuts and washers to space the pedal off of the fire wall. I had to use an extra washer on one side to get things to sit nice a flush. It is a little trial and error.

I Did it! I modified it with 3/8 bolts and nuts and some carefully drilling holes, Bam!

It lines up very nice and good.

Not final, but will bypass that wire and add hole there.

One step closer from finishing my little beast

New problem, The spring in clutch is jammed, wont retract back, kept pop in and stay there. Help?

Are you talking about on the clutch pedal itself? That is normal if you don't have the clutch cable hooked up to the lever on the tranny.

Really? I assumed the spring was supposed to make it retract it back toward me, not pop and stuck toward the firewall.
