The neutral safety switch is probably on the AUto tranny. That why I am confused. I could use some more info and pictures.
Hey. Jer760, Ya can help me or not?

Well the inhibitor switch is on the auto engine harness, the manual harness doesn't have one. Did you change the behind the dash harness to a manual when you changed the engine harness?

I never said he had to, nor did I say it would affect anything with the cluster. He was talking about adding the switch on the clutch pedal, so I was asking if he swapped the harness.

Jen, did you use the auto engine harness or did you swap to a manual?

i was just saying that he didnt have to use it or swap it. but i did get a manual engine harness and i belive i got a auto computer harness to match the clips under the center console. for thoes who dont know you have a couple diffrent harnesses in your car. you have a computer side harness and a engne side harness. a dash harness a light harness. probably missing one or 2.. but yea...

I found the relay but there like 10 wires coming out of it, kinda conflict at that point to slice onto for the signal wire. MMM I got no proper info for thsi step.

I got an info,
"Another option would be to wire in the clutch position switch and splice it into the neutral sensor input wire right before it goes to the inhibitor relay. This would allow you to start the car in neutral or with the clutch depressed in any gear and not throw a CEL."

meaning that I wire the clutch switch into neutral sensor which is at the bottom of the tranny, splice it anywhere? or close to the neutral sensor????????

I am bringing this thread back! I need to do this swap in my b14. Anyone in Ohio have any of these parts that I need and maybe willing to lend a hand?
