my alarm went off today. the car is in the garage like always. the drivers window was down, the doors were locked. i reached inside to pop the hood and the alarm went off. scared the shiiiet outta me for a second. i was about to run into the house and grab my godamn gun!! (couldn't help it)
Thing is it wasnt the alarm, it was the horn. And its dissconected, i had to yank the fuse. If it was the alarm going off i wouldnt be able to start her or anything. Every time i try to put the fuse in it goes off.

Does anyone know how to override the startup inhibitor in a b14 due to an aftermarket alarm? I tried the kill switch, tried disconnecting the passengerside anti theft boxes under the hood but still nothing.

Dude i JUST realized something. I used to drive around and the horn would start to blare. Inside the steering wheel this weight? of some kind started hitting the horn conductor inside there making it go off. I took the plastic covers off the side of the wheel and worked my way of getting it out. Honestly idk what it was for but i took that shit out and tossed it

your pretty much gonna have to find every single wire that is from the alarm install and remove them.....EVERY SINGE WIRE ADDED BY THE ALARM MUST BE REMOVED....if it was a professional install it'll be extra hard to find it all....good luck....took me 2 days with no dash to find all the wires in my nx
