Thread: My horn just freaked out?

Ok so im sitting inside watching tv, and i hear this sound outside. I got no idea what it is, sounded like a buzzing so thought it was one of my sons toys, well keeps going, so i turn down the music on my laptop and realize its my car horn. I grab my gun, blast out the front door and no one there, but my horn is blaring. Now horn wires are cut to the wheel and taped up, so i start the car up and doesnt stop, alarm system is unlocking and locking, but not shutting off the horn, panic button does nothing. I had to pull the fuse to stop it. Put fuse back in and horn goes off again..? WTF? Its on the b14. Shes been sitting for 2 days, so no clue wtf happend all of a sudden.

Mine used to do this, but my anti theft would go off. Not my clifford alarm system but my factory anti theft alarm. I dont even know how to arm this thing. And the horn to the car would sound not the clifford horn. No idea why it did this but it did it alot for about a year. I wouldnt even be able to start the car

Its the factory alarm on mine to, but i could unlock the car with the remote, and even start it...Oh well, going to yank the stock horn, run new wiring and install my giant air horn i guess to the toggle switch next to my wheel for anyone that cuts me off anymore.

Oh now i get it. I never watched that show. Just dont get the horn all a sudden.

What if you lock and unlock the car WITH the key from the outside? I finally figured out about that in the owners manual after like a year of this happening
