You should just scrape off your VVL letters from the 20V and sell it to Dan

Nope on 93, this was years ago before E85 was easily attainable. I left alot on the table but the injectors I had at the time were maxing out (GC8 440's) and tuned with just a S-AFC.

Woah must have been a monster VE then. Definitely not seeing anything relatively close to that. 10.3:1 cr right?

Vadim; Stock BB manifold, stock BB T25, stock 2liter cams. @7psi the P10 ran 13.4 @102mph with a slipping clutch(I slipped too much out the hole and I glazed it ). Neve ran it @288whp at the track, but it shredded third gear from a third gear roll.


288whp on 93 pump with maxed out 440cc injectors tuned with an SAFC. Wow. I would have went turbo with my VE easily if I would have hung out with you guys. A 2871R with external wastegate & downpipe, GTIR manifold, Subie 550s with stock VE cams with RT, AEM or Nistune management and 3" exhaust tuned by you guys would have been my perfect setup. All at stock 10.3:1. To the OP, I overpaid for my 91 SE-R when I bought it but the engine had just been replaced with a fresh JDM 10:1, Macco paint job and no rust. SE-Rs were hard to find in '03 and found this one in the local classifieds by luck. It had it's share of issues but the engine sold it for me. Besides the 94 I have since day one the 91 was/is the best investment I've made in all the cars I've owned,2 engine swaps later lol. Yours will work out as long as you have the forum knowledge and support to turn a possible Ebay lemon into lemonade. Lots of good people here to help. Any pics of your car? BTW welcome to the forum!

you just listed my exact setup (except my sti's are 520's) and i dont believe im anywhere near that power.. havent been to the dyno yet though..

BTW when I posted that it shredded third gear, I literally mean the gear. Teeth of third gear where sheared clean off. That is when I went big turbo and low boost, comparable power with beter top end and transmission-complant lol

yeah my car acts nothin like boomstick's t25 nx.. his power comes on fast, but also falls on its face fast.. mine comes on later pull pulls like a freight train to redline.
