Trans refill plug?
I need to add some Redline in my trans because of the ongoing leaks from the cv axle seal. And I usually fill it up from the plug on the front of the bell housing but the that area is cracked and I'm afraid to take the plug back out until I get a LSD tranny.

So is there anywhere else I could add fluid? Pics would help if someone could show me. Thanx!

Yea, remove the transmission speed sensor and you can also pour trans fluid through that hole as well.

It pours faster if you can leave the bottle in the sun for an hour or two. Or if you are really brave and desperate I've heard people put the bottle of gear lube in the microwave. I would not do it myself but... everyone has to call their own shots.

Myself I can't stand leaks. I'd throw a new axle seal in there knowing my LSD swap was further off than I was planning.

Microwave?! Wtf haha. I've done the trick of putting spray paint cans in a pot of warm water on lowest setting possible on the stove for a few minutes, but never heard of oil in the microwave.

Yeah like I posted... call your own shots. Its hard to see how it would hurt but I do my tranny oil changes in July for this reason.
Now Boiling water.... that might help the oil pour better. ymmv
